Many Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) vehicles use factory radios with a different FM frequency range than North American vehicles. This can make it difficult to use the original Japanese stereo after importing the vehicle into Canada or the USA. This Bluetooth FM transmitter provides a simple plug-and-play solution while allowing you to keep the original factory head unit.

The transmitter plugs directly into any standard 12–24V cigarette lighter or accessory power outlet. Connect your smartphone through Bluetooth, select an FM frequency supported by your vehicle's radio, and tune the factory stereo to the same frequency. 87.5 FM is a good starting point for many JDM Japanese-market radios.

How It Works

1. Plug the transmitter into your vehicle's 12V/24V accessory outlet.

2. Pair your smartphone to the transmitter through Bluetooth.

3. Set the transmitter to an FM frequency your factory radio can receive.

4. Tune the vehicle's radio to the same frequency.

5. Play music, navigation audio, podcasts, or take calls through the vehicle's factory speakers.

This is particularly useful for JDM Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Suzuki and other Japanese-import vehicles where replacing the factory stereo may be undesirable or unnecessary.

The transmitter can also be used as a high-output USB car charger, with 30W USB-C Power Delivery and 18W QC3.0 charging for compatible smartphones and other USB devices.

Important Compatibility Information

The transmitter does not modify the FM frequency range of the factory stereo. Your vehicle's radio must be capable of receiving the frequency selected on the transmitter. Japanese-market radios vary by vehicle and model year, so check your stereo's available FM range if you're unsure.
