The adapter plugs directly into the OEM 4-pin camera connector and outputs a composite RCA video signal, eliminating the need to replace the factory camera during an aftermarket stereo installation.

Dynamic parking guidelines will be lost.
The moving steering-angle guidelines are generated by the factory head unit, not the camera. Aftermarket stereos will display only a basic video feed without dynamic lines when this adapter is used, unless you have purchased an advance unit that integrates the steering angle into the video feed.

Video quality limitations may be noticeable.
Although the camera is OEM, it outputs a low-resolution composite signal. Modern aftermarket stereos with high-resolution displays may make the image appear fuzzy or soft compared to newer cameras.
